That parts and dealer support answer is hard to beat. I got to be more of a Massey mechanic than I started out to be because the nearest dealer was 45 miles away. However, it didn't hurt me and it probably wound up saving some money. It did cost time and stomach acid during the learning process. For that reason it would probably be better to let the imports like Belarus, Zetor and so on go. No matter what you might think of Deere, it's hard to beat their parts support. Ford and Massey are pretty good too.
