60 miles? I DROVE my first tractor home that far cuz I didn't have a trailer yet! Anyway yopu will love your m. Ya, you can get a muffler at tsc but I wouldn't mess with teir paint. For jus a few more bucks you can get 2150 red at your case IH dealer that will make you happier. Hard to say about the brakes. might be able to adjust them, could be just rust and dirt. New bands are $50 -60 bucks each. I'd sure change the engine oil right away, check for water in the rear end- transmission, If the 80-90 oil looks ok you can make sure it's full. Of course check the antifreeze, change it if there's any doubts. Happy tractoring, BTW, where in NE are you? Clay Center Show is featuring IH this year and we are planning a tractor drive starting in Hastings, going out by the ammunition dumps to Clay Center. Fairbanks IH will feed us burgers. All makes welcome.
