If it isn't Amsoil, Mobile 1 or Royal Purple. It's not a true synthetic and you are wasting money.
Better off with Rottela 15W40 mineral oil instead of that Castrol 5W50 "sort of" synthetic.
Synthetic is for use where infrequent dry starts are common, extreme cold, extreme heat or extreme pressure.
