Thanks all for the info. I will try to get the serial number to post. I pulled the head off last night and have it at a machine shop that is going to magnaflux it to see if there are obvious problems there. To be honest, the head gasket did not look that bad. I did have a exhaust valve that was stuck open on six, though. I have also pulled the oil pan and did not see any obvious cracks in the bottom of the block. Filled up the bottom half of the block and didn't see any leaks. Where are these o-rings/seals? On the inside of the sleeves? And how do I know if there shot? Any obvious signs? I'm in Utah. Hot summers. Freezing winters. I don't have the hours with me right now, but I know it was worked hard before it was abandoned for the past few years. Thanks for your responses.
