Yeh, the subject's been beat to death. Whattaya gonna do except economize. Gas is going nowhere but up, as they aint' making any more crude petroleum. By this time next year, it'll be pushing $5.00 a gallon and $100.00 a barrel crude. And the oil companies and GW are doing just fine with record profits so they sure as heck don't really want to see any real alternative energy. And yet you hear that as the gas prices go up, so is the demand, and like was posted further down, the interstates are more and more plugged. Gas is still cheaper in terms of hours worked to buy a gallon than it was in 1950. But wait until a billion Chinese all get their gas-guzzling SUV's and drive like we do. Then $5.00 a gallon gas will look like the good old days. there, just a few more lashes on the old dead horse. Come to think of it, there it is. Bring back the horse! :-)
