Depends on the black. If its dry, not oily, its a sign of running way too rich on gasoline. Probably main jet opened too much or float valve leaking because of sunk float or worn needle and seat. If its oily its probably from oil getting into the cylinder from worn rings or too much oil in the crankcase. Gerald
