Saw on TV interview with UPS official. They do the same as I have always done with my personal driving, but their computer does it each day. Circular routing. First delivery is nearest the UPS Center, then next delivery, etc. Last delivery is near the Center on the other side. No backdriving. That plan will work for personal errands. But if getting frozen items at the supermarket, make that the stop just before home.
