I build fence as a second job. Around here in SW IA, fencing goes for around $7-$8/rd. 1 rd= 16.5 ft. 80 rd = 1/4 mile. Then plus $20/corner. Figure $680/ 1/4 mile (labor only) with only 2 corners/ 1/4 mile. More if more corners and major bends in the fence. A good crew (3 men) should be able to put in between 1/4 and 1/2 mile of fence per day if they work at it.
