I need to find a way to get rid of groundhogs under the barn where flares/sulphur sticks could start a fire. Supposedly the idea below won't. One idea is to attach a flexible exhaust hose to the exhaust pipe. I'm wondering if the hose below--designed for a car exhaust from autobarn.net--would work. It handles temps up to 600 degrees F. I've no clue as to how hot a tractor exhaust pipe could get. "Designed to withstand the rigors of automotive shop service, CRP's automotive shop exhaust hose has a patented construction that maintains 250% elongation and 1750 lbs. tensile strength even after crushing by a car. It will maintain flexibility and durability while withstanding exhaust pipe and gas temperatures up to 600°F. Hose sections may be quickly and effectively joined by threading the flared end of one section to the non-flared section of another." Other ideas would be appreciated.
