anyone have any suggestions of how to remove a cast hub and spoke wheel off of a six spline axle shaft? The tractor is a 1929 Twin-City KT, So far we have busted the outer flange while trying to pull it off with a 10-ton porta-power, which can be welded. we cut a slice down the shaft, still nothing. lots of heating and cooling..dual torches, dry ice. Finally we have the entire assembly off of the tractor...bull gear, axle bearings, cover plates. Now that we have it ALL off the machine, what can we do? We're afraid of using a press because the bull gear cover plate is too close to the hub and would only be able to press against the plate and not the hub. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
