You know there are sites availiable for all sorts of talk other than farming, tractors and machinery repair. Let`s try and keep this one free from the controversy of politics, religion and opinions that incite arguments and hard feelings. There is a world of good information available here that is shared by people from all walks of life and different countries for that matter. We can lose the intent of the forum and become just another hotbed of dissension that may make the providers of this valuable information go somewhere else to share their knowledge. Just an observation.

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
