Red, As the IH Cub Cadet Kohler engine uses both ends of the crankshaft, ie, PTO one the front and the trans drive on the back, be sure that the engine has bearings on both ends of the crankshaft and not just bushings. Also be sure of the diameter and length of the front shaft for the PTO. A Cub Cadet dealer may be the only place to get the right engine.
