Been there, seen that before on a Wisconsin powered Bobcat. The distributor advance weights rust tight in the full advance position. They will start and run OK,but will detonate with that much spark advance at low rpm and blow gaskets/split heads. This problem was especially bad with a bobcat parked in a damp cattle barn in winter. Get that distributor freed up and keep it well oiled. Make sure the ignition timing is on the mark after fixing the distributor. Amazing how those heads will develope long cracks between the cooling fins, but detonation is like blows with a big hammer.
