It's the same story 'down under' boys. A year ago we were paying 85 cents/litre for fuel, now $1.15. Fertilizer is way up and the only people putting it on at the moment are the one's who forward purched a couple of months ago. About 3 years ago cotton was AUD$510/bale now it's $320. A bloke asked me today what our average rainfall was and I couldn't tell him. I've lived in this area for 15 years and have never seen a 'normal' season. This is the first time in 17years I haven't been fertilizing at this time of year.
