Stan, One of my friends had an S10 blazer in his shop that had aluminum radiator problems, he installed a new radiator, anti freeze, hoses and belt. after installing these parts and road testing, the water pump started leaking, he then installed one of the China water pumps. While warming the engine up to open the thermostat he revved the engine, the water pump shaft snapped, it took out the new radiator, shroud, fan, fan pulley, and cut one of the trans cooling lines. The water pump shaft snapped at the bearing, the shaft was shinny on the outside, but dark gray inside where it broke. The parts guy told him not to worry, they would GIVE him a new water pump. I haven't stopped by and talked to him in a while, so I don't know how it came out, but this parts situation really sucks.
