Oh happy day. Oh happy day. Thanks,thanks for each helpful reply. I could see nothing wrong with the hydraulic filter but I removed it and cycled the control lever several times and up came the lift. I have already ordered a new filter. I also see smoother operation of steering assist. Thanks, thanks again.
