Now I understand what you are saying and agree with you.
My first interpretation of what you said was incorrect, I thought you were saying we should have sent help in last week before it happened.

Perhaps the mandatory evacuation should have been assisted by Nat'l Gaurd.

I agree that help and supplies could have been organized and staged outside the storm area, within maybe 8 hours travel time.

Why is there an aircraft carrier going there? Is this for a base of operations?
