Jo, The standard color on the ID-9 was IH red. Guy Fay has good information on the variations of this red in his book, "Farmall Letter Series Tractors". You can order it on line or form book stores. It also has excellent decal and other restoration information. Although red was the standard color, the tractor could be ordered from the factory in any color the customer wanted, other than red, for a extra fee. Harold H
