Top Link Strenght?

This picture is of the second top-link that I have managed to bend while using my pond scoop behind my Ford 861. I am thinking of using two new ones in parallel by using longer pins and tie-ing them together. All I have been able to find are the high quality chineese replacements.
Is there a better way or something else that may fit it?
