Maybe this should be called the "Psudo Intellectual activist" the only thing that is broken in the criminal justice system, a lot of these guy's should be serving 100 year prison sentances, aside from the carear crimminals things are going pretty good, radio traffic is moving in and out quite well and the stuff is moving in a lot better than I though it would be when you hear how bad things are. Hard to do much rescue operations when you have to move the choppers out of the area because they are being shot at, and rescue folks on the ground are being shot at, lucky the supplies were not close before the storm hit, they would have been lost in the storm or looted, they are still worried about bringing too much stuff in too close for fear of it being looted funny but I haven't had much time to watch the news, saw some pictures but have had my ear on the ham radio between 75, 40 and 20 meters keeping an ear there just in case I could realay something if needed, but it's funny that the news media never say's anything about that, I just got home after hanging over 100 feet in the air changing some antennas out on a radio tower for 4 hours and still have about 2 hours until we are done but it got too dark to safely finish the job, if you have a short wave reciever just tune around in those spots and you might be able to hear the many emergency nets operating out of the area, this equipment is all privately owned and maintained so maybe that is why it works, not much governemnt involvement other than the hoops you have to go through day's...

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
