JD1010 Hydraulic Pump Failure??

After working my 1961 1010 pretty hard plowing some raw land with thick sod and locust roots, the lift arms started going up and down a little very quickly. Then after a little while longer after trying to finish up, my power steering got harder to steer. Did my hydraulic pump go out or might there be something else that I need to look at? Thanks for input.
