Hey Rich..I have one of these electronic systems on my Farmall Super C and my JD A. These units need 12volt negative ground systems. The units installed easy and the charging systems need their polarity changed if applicable. The ones from Petronix are great. They installed quick. I recommend one, because once you try it, points just ain't the same..Good luck..DougS in Tx
