I make name boards for my neighbors by using branding iron letters. I made up simple letter "tools" from rebar and use my torch to heat them and then brand the wood. I like to use old barn boards that have weathered. They make really neat signs. An average 10-15 letter name takes about an hour to make. I guess I should charge to do it because everybody seems to want one. One guy did give me a case of beer! (The next guys sign didn't turn out too good....had to redo it)
