a dodge will not stand up to pulling anhydrous wagons trust me been there done that. unless you beef up the tranny, which costs about 8,000 dollars which is the price difference between a dodge and a duramax which already is beefed up. dont believe me go to dodge as them for the specs on a dodge tranny and then chevy duramax and compare the input shaft size. enough said. i love the cummins motor jsut not hte rest of the truck. as far as gasser STAY AWAY honestly i am not a ford fan but my prejudguce aside there big old 6.8 v 10 is gutless have one in our 450 superduty service truck. gutless. our dodge 3500 dulley v10 is better then the ford but no power house and neither are good on gas. at all. the 7.4 v-8 chevy honestly has more power w/less cylidners but again gas hog. alot of easy mods for the duramax out there to tweek them a tadget power and economy. and to testify to the power and strength of a duramax w/allison tranny it is the same combo they use in the top kicks 7000 series trucks. different pump and injectors but same block and tranny as in your 2500 chevy. how many ford 7000 trucks do you see with 6.0's in them?????????????0 enough said
