The L ad the LI; industrial; were different in the height of tractor; shorter spindals but other wise about the same; should be no difference in engine. L was not made in 37, introudced in 38. previous tractor was the 62 and it seems if I remember corectly their are only 60 some tractors accounted for and that is a 90% serviveal rate. the styled L; LI & LA were introudced in 41 and the L was the small tractor with 22" rear tires while the LA was the larger; same size as the H; and on 24" tires and production of all ended in 46 with the M taking over in 47 and about 5 horse bigger than the LA
