I wasn't speaking specifically about yours, or anyone elses post here. I appologize if it came off like that. I was making a suggestion that we may need to get another message board specifically for off topis subjects as it is very misleading to new site visitors seeing "Tractor Talk" on top of this board with very little talk about tractors. Of course we are all concerned with what is going on with the world - but there will ALWAYS be "something" going on in the world. Maybe on this subject we could discuss "How to weatherproof your tractors" or something. Dan

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
