Well I lost web service last night and cell phones did not work. All outbnound interstates are packed bumper to bumper and have been all night. Land fall is expected at Galveston. Lots of changes in 12 hours. If it hits that close, Texas city will be wiped off the map. Not all people can get out due to such a large population. I fear this storm will make N.O. look like a cakewalk. It is so strong that Lufkin will feel hurricane winds, folks that's a 150 miles from Houston and Houston is 75 miles from Gal.. Gusts are at 215 mph, never before in history. Substained winds 175 mph plus. It is large enough La. will get some more . If there was a cat 6 this would be it. It may calm to 150 mph on land fall but I think not because it has been too hot here setting record temps.. Even with a notice , a city this large can not move fast enough. This town will be under construction for a few years. All the emergency crews will have learned a great experience from this. I may lose web ability for a bit. My real thoughts are, I think we can not out run the storm due to tornados and so many other obstacles. People have been on the road so many hours they are running out of gas. Gas stations are either out or closed. I am grateful I do not have far to go. The damage of all this will be unprecented and no one could possibly be great enough to blame. This is all I have for now.

It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
