Tlak, These people are even worse than you think. I was in Maryland in height of the race riots of the late 60"s and on one occasion saw the news media try to manipulate and orchestrate a riot just so they could have it make the 6:00 news. There are, I"m sure, some good journalists out there, but they are overwhelmed by the bottom feeders of the industry. The problem is simple, they are just plain lazy for one thing, as they do not bother to dig for the truth and report as such, they find it more expedient to spin and report what they think is going on, based on their personal ideology. They will be the first to complain if their journalistic rights are infringed all the while they abuse those same rights.
