Not much, just details and improvements.
Same engine, trany, rear end. 8N is different, better engine, 4-speed trany, new hydraulic, ...
9N : began mfg in 1939
2N : began mfg in 1942, then up to 1947
8N : began mfg in 147, year model 1948.
