I am trying to start what looks like an 8 or 9n Ford. It's is my bosses (He does not really know I am working on it, but I will talk to him about it) and he used to mow his pastures with it before he sold his horses. It has been setting for about (A rough guess of 5 years). I tried jumping it with a garden tractor and I got it to turn over a few times then it stopped turning over and the starter would only click. So I hooked it up to a battery charger and went on mowing the lawen. Afterwards, I came back and tried starting it again, but the starter still just clicked. I got looking around and notice that the all for spark plugs are rusty, the battery should be replaced and the oil and gas sholud be changed to. I would like to know how to change the gas and how much spark plugs could be. Also, could the distubiture be bad or what? If there are any questions or answers, feel free to post Farmall Teen P.S, I would like to keep the cost down as much as possible, but I know how old tractors are.
