They're spending money on roads in Iowa! New freeway around the east side of Des Moines, New four lane from Des Moines to the Mississippi, and just completeing the last leg of being four lane from the Minnesota border to Missouri. I discussed the diesel fuel debacle with a friend of mine who has several trucks running. He says Exxon-Mobile made profits of 69 billion last year. They paid in taxes to the US Government 39 billion. The boys in DC will not even attempt to put a damper on that. They're going to let prices settle where ever they want!
