Thanks fellas ---- I can always depend on getting good advice from you folks !! As with most pick-ups , this truck will either carry nothing or be temporarily abused at times. B.T.W. first 1/2 ton I ever had was a 1970 Fargo (Dodge) with the slant 6 and an automatic trans. One of the first with an automatic in the neighbourhood ---------everyone said she'd never last. Can't begin to tell you the abuse that truck went through with absolutely no problems. Dealers sold a lot more automatics after the neighbours caved in.
