The car is designed to use that style tire,due to suspension and steering design for that model. Using an el cheapo tire might work,but you may find steering,handling and abs braking seriously affected especially in an emergency situation. A reputable tire store won't install a downgrade tire,if the car manufacturer specifies a V rated tire due to liability concerns also.
