Had a buddy yesterday tell me another friend of his that's a crane operator has been asked to go down and work in the LA area. He said the going rate for a crane operator was nearly $3000 per day and the general laborers were getting in the $1000 per day range. If it weren't for screwing over all my customers that rely on me to keep their equipment, and therefore their businesses, going I'd be on the road down right now and get my own piece of this pie.... at least I'd still be working for what I got..... That said, what I really want to know is why can't some of these sorry a-- jobless and homeless folks get their a--es off the cruise ships and put to work rebuilding their own damm stuff for a fair wage instead of the rest of us having to pay out the a-- and work ourselves to death to pay for our own stuff as well as theirs....Just my .02
