Can you seperate so the fert gets dropped 'on top' of the ground, not down a tube at all? If in front of the disks, the fert would work in enough with just the blades & chains, and likely you drag or harrow your seed bed after planting anyhow, so would be worked in fine. Then you can put on what you normally apply, shouldn't be a problem. If it _must_ go down the same tube, hum, I'm not sure what to say. Small grains are a small crop here, not much info or experience as to how much salt or burn can be in the same trench on seed contact. I know small grains can get mixed with fert & then broadcast all at once, but that is different from putting it all in the same trench. Just, not enough experience with such a thing. What kind of drill do you have again, very rare to see any with fert attachments 'here'. Mostly clover/alfalfa attachment is standard 'here'. --->Paul
