Andrew - yes, Montes Equipment did buy out the existing stock of parts for the Continental engines which had been built in Muskegon and Detroit. Continental Motors was bought out by Ryan Aeronautical which in turn was bought out by Teledyne. Teledyne eventually sold the industrial Continental engine business to a group which calls itself WIS-CON Total Power (WISconsin & CONtinental engines), headquartered in Memphis, TN. They still build Continental engines (newer models, however) for fork lifts and other smaller industrial uses. Their web address is www.totalpower.com. They do not provide parts for older Continental engines. But do check with Montes Equipment. Paul Nelson
