If he is serious about hauling he may as well do it right the first time. He will want/need a gooseneck deck over flatbed with a minimum of 20feet of useable deck space, and the trailer should have a minimum 20,000 pound rating. This might be overkill for someone just getting started but if his business grows he will wish he had bought a trailer of this caliber to start with. May as well plan on trading trucks also, minimum 3/4 ton, one ton preferred.
