A week after Hurricane Katrina was over and all the devastation was obvious, Channel 3 news in Charlotte, NC highlighted a family (husband, wife, and son) from New Orleans that was staying with relatives near the Charlotte area to "ride out the storm". The husband said that his plans, before the storm, were to return as soon as possible, but now there was nothing to go back to so he went to the local school board and enrolled his son into school that day and now he was standing infront of the camara advertising hisself for employment, highlighting his skills, and experience and asking for an opportunity to work and support his family. THIS ALL COMING FROM A MAN THAT LOST EVERYTHING!! Right then I turned to my wife and said,"If the rest of those idiots in New Orleans would do the same thing this man is doing instead of blaming everyone else then we would'nt have half the problems we have in this world"
