Glen2, I watch my voltmeter for correct operation of the plugs. When the volts quit drawing I hit the starter. I ignore the wait to start light. When the voltmeter starts bouncing around I know I've got a bad plug or two. That's when I get the test light out and go to checking. I haven't changed all 8 out at the same time in a long time. But, having all plugs working is crucial. KEB is right if the controller stays in too long it will burn them up.
