I had a 464 gas ('74) that I bought in '78 with 900 mowing hours. Kept if for several years using it in utility capacity on a small farm and sold it to a neighbor who still has it. I didn't like it. I prefer the Fords in that HP range. Objections were shuttle shift hard to work, hard to start in the winter, barely pulled a 2 bottom plow in my heavy clay and hard for me to mount/dismount due to limited seating area and controls all over the place ....oh and it liked gas.
