Manufaturers allow E10 in all vehicles. Minnesota has passed legislation mandating E20 in a few years. Some manufaturers are not comfortable with this. So, E50 would not be good for the warrenty. E85 was figured to be the best mix of the most E to still work with a vehicle that also runs on straight unleaded - for starting, knock, etc. for all fuels. E100 works well in engines tuned for it. Mostly in South America. Never heard of E50 being sold, but many people are mixing E85 and unleaded fuel to come out about there. Most say it works, a few have had issues. --->Paul
