OK it depends on where you're living. Here in Alaska, if you're prosperous you wear clean Carharrt work clothes, like bibs. Regardless of what you do for a living. Wash your pickup before you pick her up. And act like everything she says is the most fascinating thing you ever heard. Don't talk about yourself. Most females live to be 70 or so before they realize that maybe the world don't revolve around just them.
