Oh, I don't doubt what you said for a second. My point was went to a real insurance company, happened to be State Farm in my case. Could've been Allstate, Prudential, etc, etc, etc. Fired the "insurance broker". One of my pet peaves is when the insurance... whatever they call themselves...club...board...association releases their annual most dangerous vehical report. I remember watching the news one night and caught it. As one of the vehicals, showed then Dodge's new styled model '95 or '96 Dakota pickup and how the front driver's tire folds under during impact. As well as other vehicals. First thing went through my mind was pick the most popular vehicals on the road, find a way to pick them apart, reap $$$$ by labling them as... evil. A elderly gentleman from my brother's church broke down and bought himself a new Chevy S-10 pickup a year or so ago. Probably his last new. Had it for awhile, next thing his insurance premium sky rockets for no apparent reason. He contacts his agent, whom tells him they're popular with the young crowd, so are now considered a sports vehical. An S-10? Driven by an old retired guy? Sport vehical? He sold it, got a second hand Ford F150. Just another form of predator with excuses to justify taking advantage of others, via a large government lobby to wrangle the ears of legislators over pricey dinners and other inner-Washington DC-circle type of perks - both sides of the political aisle. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
