In any big city you go to, one of the largest buildings downtown is an insurance building. What does that tell you?!? I live in KY, obviously, and I have always had State Farm Insurance. I have four kids, two girls and two boys. The girls are somewhat less expensive to insure than the boys. I got each of my kids a 10 year old vehicle to start with and insurance premiums were in the $1000 range annually for minimum liability and comprehensive coverage. They got a 10% discount for 3.0 grade point average, 10% discount for driver's education school, and 10% discount for completing a course set up by State Farm. I am still paying in the $1000 range annually for the boys, even though they drive four wheel drive vehicles which are somewhat more expensive to insure. I can't imagine paying $3000 to $5000 annually for a kid to drive. I informed my kids when they started driving that I would only pay for a clean record and I would only pay for 3.0 grades premiums. If they got a ticket, if they had an accident which was their fault, or if they did not maintain their grade point average in school, they would pay the difference out of their savings accounts. So far, I have paid all of their premiums. I guess I am just lucky, so far.

Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
