In fall of 1979 I got a brand new IH1086. That winter we had a ton of snow and neighbor could no longer push the snow on driveway with his pickup. I went to widen it for him with 1086. Well I got to wide and 25 hr. $21,000 1086 on its side in ditch. I shut itdown right away and called crane to set up then called the dealer to ask what i needed to do they said to check all fuilds when upright. No damage to tractor and 8000 hrs. and 26 years later it is still running.I was 21 at the time and pretty dam upset at the time but lucked out.
