Hi Jay, Aw heck, I'm so far behind the eight-ball on this feller now, that I'll never see daylight again. Besides, I can always use him next spring when the calves get here. The fault was all mine; I never should have let the wife up on him. She is from back east and I think she now understands that when we say, "cow pony" out here, we don't literally mean "pony". :>( He is short, quick, was bred and trained to work cattle and does exactly as he is queued. She, on the other hand wasn't, and it is sad to say, but she just plain doesn't know how to handle this guy. If anyone needs to go down the road, it's me. I should have known better. :>) Allan

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
