Well I reported about getting my new tractor on Monday & turning it over on friday this is how it has worked out . First it is a Mahindra 4110. I was pushing a tree that was laying on top of ditch bank . The tractor was in four wheel drive. The tractor was on road bed . To the right side of the tractor the road sloped down about 20 degree slope . I had the bucket above ditch bank pushing small tree . The tractor was at a angel when I started down into the ditch so the left tire came in contact with ditch bank first when the left tire came in contact with bank it started climbing up bank . This cause the right tire to come off the ground .This caused the tractor to roll over to the right on its side. I know hin site is 20-20 If I had hit joystick and droped the bucket I could have recovered. I cut the engine off after it rolled on its side within 8 seconds. I call the dealer they said don't even try to crank tractor . When you get it back on its wheels . I call Mr. Mullens he brought his wrecker, he hooked one cable to rear axel and one to the front. He amazed me setting the tracor back on its wheels he did it as smooth and soft no bounce at all amazing job. I took the tractor back to the dealer they took the injectors out. when the tractor rolled on its side it did get oil on top of the pistons. If you try to crank a engine with oil on top of a piston it can bend a rod. I got he tractor back yesterday it is running fine . It does seem to be making a little more smoke out the exhaust. I would have had dealer put antifreez and water in rear tires but I think it would make the tractor to heavey to haul on my trailer. The tractor has a box blade and bucket. the tractor weighs 3963 pounds by itself so I guess the bucket weighs about 800 pounds the box weights 300 pounds so that total is 5063 pounds . The trailer will carry 7000 pounds it has electric brakes. The issue is the bumper hitch on my truck it says it is rated for 5000 pounds and the tougth weight on ball is 500 pounds. I know my Z71 with toe haul will pull the trailer & V8 engine. I hope this report may prevent someone else from having to go through this. I want to thank the good Lord for protecting me from getting hurt!

Old Time Threshing - by Anthony West. A lovely harvest evening late September 1947, I was a school boy, like all school boys I loved harvest time. The golden corn ripens well and early, the stoking, stacking,.... the drawing in with the tractors and trailers and a few buck rakes thrown in, and possibly a heavy horse. It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
