work for ford and dodge but i am a die hard chevy fan......anyways that old 300 is one heck of a motor. i have a 1990 f150 4x4 that i bought i high school ('95) with 40k on it. it now has over 200k, been through he!! and back. only problem was when the water pump went out at about 150k and the wife let it get alittle warm so the head needed some work. fix it yourself. get a manual and have a blast. no better time to learn (or an easier auto engine to work on beside the classic 350!) casey
