I just did a 350 Olds for my daughter's Firebird, he's right, the aluminum rocker hold-downs are sorta fragile so you have to tighten them down evenly to keep from breaking them. There are steel aftermarket ones you can get, they're only about 3 bucks each and are much better than the originals. The timing gears are no problem, just a little different than a S.B. Chevy. Be sure the plate and gasket surface are very clean and make sure the plate is very flat. Mine had a little rust so it took a little extra care to seal it. If you can do a Chevy, you can do an Olds. It's a little different, but not hard. Kerry
