Old, non-detergent oil by its nature is cheap because its paraffin based. There is nothing wrong with O'Reilly's brand. Any other brand setting next to it regardless of the price would have probably have came from the same plant since so few manufacture it any longer.
If you don't find something to take more of your hard earned cash try the JD break in stuff. That'll do it.
